About Dr. Blythe: Dr. Blythe is a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Spine Surgeon specializing in minimally invasive spine surgeries. He received his bachelor’s degree with honors in Microbiology from the University of Oklahoma and his Osteopathic Medical Degree from Des Moines University. Dr. Blythe completed his orthopedic training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and a spine surgery fellowship at the Spine Institute of Arizona, focusing on minimally invasive techniques.

Dr. Blythe focuses on innovative surgical options, including hips, knees, shoulders, and trauma care. His specialized training in minimally invasive spine surgery offers some of the most advanced techniques available, resulting in smaller incisions, less pain, reduced blood loss, shorter hospital stays, and faster recovery.

Dr. Blythe has served 25 years in the Army and Air National Guard and is currently a Major in the Air National Guard. He has three children residing in the Murfreesboro area. Dr. Blythe is committed to providing the best possible care to each patient.
